Key responsibilities include payroll support, including reporting and compliance with labor and taxation laws._Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Inputs changes to personnel information or tax law and overtime or bonus payments or calculationsMaintains personnel records, including timesheetsAssists in the preparation and distribution of payroll-related summariesProcesses the semi-monthly payroll using ADP payroll services (Workforce Now)Audits payroll checks and direct deposit informationSupports the design and audit of recurring payroll reports, records filing and maintenanceResponsible for W-2 reporting compliance (relocation, loans, stock options, garnishment, etc.), and audit functionAdministers the recording of equity earnings through PayrollCompletes special projects, as needed, to support Payroll, Stock Administration and General Ledger functionsOther duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2+ years of related experience or equivalent experience, training, and/or certificationRequires interpersonal, communication and organization skills including a good sense of judgmentMust be able to prioritize, multi-task and work well within a team environmentMust be proficient with computer applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPointAbility to efficiently assist with projects within appropriate deadlinesExperience with payroll processing, labor laws, tax reporting and compliance issuesExperience with stock option administration a plusKnowledge of ADP Payroll preferred and Workday, Equity Edge/E*TRADE a plusUses established skills to perform a range of daily operationsApplies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasksUnderstands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectivesAble to assume responsibility, follow-through, meet commitments and use good judgmentWillingness to be part of a team & cooperate in accomplishing departmental goals and objectivesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to independently complete multiple time-sensitive tasksExcellent attention to detail#LI-OB1Neurocrine Biosciences is an EEO/AA/Disability/Vets employer.We are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace, and we recognize there are a variety of ways to meet our requirements.
