This role encompasses all aspects of project development, from land acquisition to design, construction, leasing, asset management, and divestment. Initially, the role will focus more on asset management functions, transitioning into the development process over time.Asset Management Responsibilities: The associate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of a portfolio of residential and commercial office properties. This involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational management to maximize the value and return on investment of real estate assets. Key tasks include conducting detailed financial analyses and reporting, supporting the teams managing the operations budget, tenant relations and lease management, identifying property improvement opportunities, and assessing and mitigating risks associated with property investments and operations.Development Responsibilities: In addition to asset management, the associate will assist in coordinating multi-discipline projects, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal and external parties throughout project execution. Responsibilities include financial analysis, contract management, budgeting, design and construction oversight, marketing, and leasing efforts in the development process.Key Characteristics: Creativity, adaptability, strong financial and project management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a willingness to learn and manage various aspects of a project are essential. The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in financial tools, and knowledge of various aspects of real estate development and asset management.Development Associate (Asset Management) Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in parts of the commercial investment and development process, such as: Land acquisition and sourcing, feasibility studies, entitlements and zoning, project valuation and finance; Architectural design and construction management and contractor and consultant contracting Financial analysis and budgeting, cost control processes, real estate funding, and project reporting; Leasing, marketing, and transactions; Property management and asset management
  • 3+ Years of experience with Microsoft Excel and/or financial modeling software.
  • 3+ years of experience reading and comprehending proposals, architectural concepts and drawings, contracts, consultant proposals/agreements and government regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – construction, engineering, architecture, real estate, finance, or other relevant specialization or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.
