For that reason we’re seeking a Creative Content Producer.This role is responsible for planning, producing, creating, and coordinating the distribution of content for various media channels. You will collaborate closely with the brand marketing team to understand how your work integrates with the business and brand needs. The work includes content made for Yellowbird owned channels such as our website, email, and social media. Or content crafted for external retail channels like Amazon or Instacart, and even channels like Hulu advertising. The ideal candidate will be keenly aware that content creation has multiple inputs and you must appropriately gauge the resources needed to create the content, being aware of the overarching business needs and available resources. You also understand the importance of starting with a clear distribution channel first and are able to adjust content accordingly to accommodate secondary and tertiary channels. You must thrive on owning the full process from planning, to producing, creating, editing, and distributing this content, while working closely with our brand team to identify the most impactful channels and the type of content that will work best on each.RequirementsHere are the things we want to hire you to do:
- Content strategy → working collaboratively with our brand team to plan and execute on content campaigns that align with our brand, business goals, and target audience.
- Writing and Storytelling → writing articles, blogs, product descriptions, and/or auditory content that entertains, engages, and creates a positive impression in the customers mind
- Photo and Video → combine your writing skills with your photo and video work to create a full story that entertains, engages, and creates a positive impression in the customers mind
- Content editing and adaptation → includes creative editing and adapting of content for different platforms, including website, email, social media, digital retail, streaming TV, and more.
- Content management → use our internal content management tools and editing software.
- Project management and communication → plan production flow, logistics, creative details, and resource requirements. You may also manage calendars and schedules for other project stakeholders.
- Technical oversight → managing the technical set-up of film and photo shoots, including selecting locations, equipment, props, crew/talent (if necessary), post production, and distribution of completed assets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams → work closely with the brand marketing, sales, finance, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and coherence to the Yellowbird promise as it relates to your work
- Presentation preparation → preparing and presenting creative presentations
- Quality Assurance and deliverables → understand the level of high-quality creative work and how it affects the Yellowbird brand. Work with the brand team to regularly audit the quality of creative work, ensuring all project deliverables meet creative and technical standards
- Maintaining relationships with company stakeholders → develop relationships with customers, teams, brand partners, and other key people.
- Asset Distribution → using internal asset management platforms, provide regular training and support for internal and external team members to access our high-quality creative work and ensure it’s been approved for publishing.
- Process Improvement → work with the brand team to regularly audit creative processes and refine brand asset production in order to eliminate waste and create better quality, better performing work across all channels, identifying areas for enhancing/improving distinctive brand assets, implementing necessary changes to elevate the overall brand experience
- Stay Updated → stay updated on the latest creative trends and tools in culture, asset management, platforms, and creative distribution of brand assets to ensure Yellowbird is always a step ahead

- Communication skills → Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a keen set of ears for listening
- Strategic Thinking & Execution → Ability to develop and execute the Yellowbird experience creatively via written words and storytelling, and visual photos, videos, and graphics
- Channel Specific Experiences → Maintain comprehensive knowledge of channels where Yellowbird products exist and work with the brand team to ensure the successful integration and execution of Yellowbird brand assets across these channels
- Writing and Storyboarding → Ability to identify, ideate solutions for, and execute on copywriting, scripting, and storyboarding to improve current channels through engaging brand storytelling and product use case
- Team Collaboration & Positive Attitude → A proactive team player with a positive, problem-solving mindset. Initiative to understand the internal team environment and work collaboratively
- Digital Proficiency → Comfort and familiarity with modern digital tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite and other photo and video editing tools.
- Problem-Solving Skills → The ability to think creatively and provide solutions to brand, product, and marketing issues that align with our values.
- Empathy → A genuine ability to understand and cater to the emotions and needs of the Yellowbird customer.
- Project Management → Experience in managing creative projects and working cross-functionally with different departments/team to creative and distribute engaging brand assets
- Continuous Learning → Dedication to personal growth and development in the realm of brand/product marketing, storytelling, and related areas
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Creative Content Production role at an FMCG company (fast moving consumer packaged goods)
- High level of attention to detail and organization, excellent judgment, and the ability to create exceptional work with tight constraints and/or limited resources
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in practical experience
- Problem solving and analytical. Intellectually curious with a make it happen mindset
- Project Management & Spreadsheet Proficient
- Experience working collaboratively with other departments — Brand, Sales, Finance, QA, Warehouse, Production, Community, etc.
- Flexible to changing priorities and comfortable thriving in an office, production, and field event environment
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities
- Willingness to accept new responsibilities and challenges, and demonstrates calmness under pressure, and not afraid or hesitant to roll up your sleeves and get things done
