Job Description: Our non-profit client is seeking a Budget & Planning Manager to oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute budgeting strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create accurate, resource-optimized budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Conduct financial reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain precise financial records, track budget performance, and deliver regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of budget analysts, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, clearly communicating complex financial data.
  • Participate in strategic planning, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate and implement operating cost allocations to enhance financial reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee and support the month-end close process for timely financial results.
  • Partner with the CFO on special projects, offering financial analysis and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Budget Manager or similar role, with 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting methodologies, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools; advanced Excel skills are a must.
